It's not hard to notice that steel structures are very common in many engineering and architectural projects today. So, why is the use of steel structures increasing? Why do steel structures occupy such a key position? This is closely related to the unique advantages of steel structures.
Steel structure materials themselves are lightweight, which can reasonably reduce the cost of foundation engineering and the comprehensive cost of material transportation, and the advantages are particularly significant in soft ground areas. Under the same building height standards, steel structures have a small maintenance wall area, greatly reducing the cost of enclosure structures. Compared with traditional concrete construction, steel structure construction reduces the construction period by more than 40%, which can effectively enable steel structure buildings to be put into use earlier, and the cost of capital utilization is greatly reduced. The entire operation process is not easy to pollute the environment, and the environmental protection level is high.
Steel structure factories are all sloped roofs. There are many kinds of load-bearing structural methods for sloped roofs. The key bearing point of the sloped roof of steel structures is at the connection between the wall and the column. The fatigue value of the stainless steel here is high, and it is easy to deform and rust. Moreover, because the location is relatively hidden, problems such as rust cannot be detected, posing a great safety risk. Therefore, in the field of structural performance testing, the following key aspects are mainly focused on:
  (1) The quality of the high-strength bolted connections of steel structure factory components. A total station instrument is used to check the exposed threads of the anchor bolts at the component connection points.
  (2) The welding connection quality of steel structure factory components. Ultrasonic flaw detection is used to determine whether the welding quality grade meets the standard requirements.
  (3) The deflection and deformation of steel structure factory components. A spirit level or tensioning box is used to determine the amount of deformation.
